(1727, Venice, Italy – 1804, Venice, Italy) Italian Rococo Era painter. Venetian Painter; Draftsman; Printmaker. Giandomenico’s independent commissions included religious and mythological subject matter and works that drew from contemporary life and theater. These were, at least in subject matter, unique to the younger Tiepolo. The Tiepolo's were among the last of the Italian artists who were invited to work at the Royal Palace.
