(1546, Antwerp, Belgium – 1611, Prague, Czech Republic). He was a Flemish Mannerist painter, draughtsman, and etcher. He was active in Italy, Austria, and Bohemia. In 1565 Spranger travelled to Italy. Went to Prague in 1576. He painted mythologies and learned allegories, often featuring female nudes.
