His importance resides not only in his visual contributions to Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, but also in his patriarchal standing among his colleagues, particularly Paul C├ęzanne and Paul Gauguin.

    Impressionism is seen through the picture. I used to write about this wave in Art in my articles from writers' corner. Modern styles were also interesting and had much to share about. Avant-garde and expressionism made me wonder about the feelings of the artists who created those masterpieces.
